Add Data Sources to a Project
In the previous section, it was indicated that a worksheet can be reused provided that access to it can be accomplished. In Trimble Quest, so-called Data Sources can be added to a project for this purpose. Any existing project that a user has access to can be added as a Data Source of a project under consideration. However, typically you would have a project set up as a master costing library which contains all of your priced worksheets so that you can easily reuse them from project to project by attaching the costing library as a data source.
To add a Data Source to a project, the project must be opened by double clicking on the project in the workspace. Then the "Project Settings" scene must be activated. This scene has the "Data Sources" action tab for the addition and management of Data Sources as shown in Figure: Adding Data Sources to a Project.
