Step 1 - Define Production Units
A production unit is simply the amount of time within which your primary production happens. So, if we take a labor example again, if a laborer can produce 25 m2 of a specific task in a day then the production rate (@p) will be 25 and the production unit will be a day. Of course, you also need to define how many hours are in a day, but the default setting in Trimble Quest is 8 hours.
You can define a production unit using the +Add button in the Production Units module:
Trimble Quest has two production units defined by default, an hour and a day, but you can define as many additional ones as you need, e.g., shift, plant shift, double shift, etc. You can also change the number of hours in a previously defined production unit.
