Step 2 - Define the Pricing Sheet

We are going to define the pricing sheet in exactly the same way as we did the cluster, by going to the Action Tab and selecting Pricing Sheet Info, and then entering the relevant details.

Remember that the pricing sheet is on the level of a line item in a bid, so let us stay with the example of the line item “Plaster Interior Walls” which has a unit of measure of square foot (SF). We can then define the pricing sheet as follows:

You will notice that there are two extra fields here that we did not have in the cluster, namely the Primary Production and Production Unit fields. The Primary Production is the production rate per unit of time (the production unit) of the time-related resource that governs the speed at which you can build the item under consideration, i.e. the quantity of the line item that can be produced by your constraining time-related resource (constraining production value).

We will go into this in a bit more detail, but for now, just note that the primary production variable for this pricing worksheet will be the production rate at which our plasterer can plaster the wall.
