Assign Attributes to Bill Items
When a new bill item is created, it is automatically assigned the system-generated “@Undefined” attribute in all attribute classes. This “@Undefined” attribute acts as a placeholder and can be replaced by one of the user-defined attributes at any stage. To assign a bill attribute to an item, open the BOQ scene, click on the kebab menu of the item and select the option “Apply Bill Attribute” as shown in Figure: Assigning Bill Attributes to BOQ items. A list of available bill attributes will appear from which the required one can be selected.
Bill attributes can also be assigned in bulk in two ways: Items can be selected individually by clicking their checkboxes on the left of the item, or all the items of a bill section can be selected by clicking the checkbox of the section, as shown in Figure: Assigning Bill Attributes to BOQ Items. The kebab menu then moves to the column header and "Apply Bill Attribute" can be clicked to assign the chosen attribute to all the selected items.
