Price Composite Bill Items

In Set up a Bill of Quantities, bill items and composite bill items were introduced as priceable elements of a BOQ. Creating, importing, and updating the properties of these items were discussed without delving into the details of pricing them. Now that topics such as resources have been formally introduced, we can return our attention to the act of developing an estimate for the Net Rate of bill items and composite bill items. A bill item is priced using its BOQ worksheet as described in detail in the sections directly below. A composite bill item comprises a number of component items and each component is priced like a standard bill item, i.e. via its BOQ worksheet. The composite bill item is then priced by aggregating the contributions of its components, as shown in Price Composite Bill Items.
