Code and Name

The Code and Name fields are required to identify a worksheet. The name of a worksheet is self-explanatory and is simply a short line of text describing what the data element represents. The code can be thought of as the ID of a worksheet and it is typically either a number or an abbreviated form of the name. Both the code and the name of a worksheet have to be unique with regard to other worksheets in the same project. To update the code and name of a worksheet, open up the Info action tab of the “BOQ Item Editor” and edit the appropriate fields as shown in Figure: Changing Worksheet Details.
