Step 2 - Add a Data Source
Before creating this project we first want to add a data source. A data source is simply another project within your Trimble Quest workspace that you are adding to this project to be able to easily pull information from that project into this one. Any project can be added to a project as a data source; there are no limits as to how many data sources a project can have.
However, since standardization of pricing data is one of the outcomes we want to achieve, it is a good idea to create one project which will be your pricing library project and then to always use that project as the data source for all other projects, which is exactly why we created the library project in the previous section.
To add the library as a data source to the new project simply click on the blue +Add Data Source button towards the middle of the Select Project Template box.
This will bring you to the Select Source Project box where you can navigate to and select your library project and then click on the blue Next button at the bottom left of the box.
Then just click on Create Project and you will be taken straight into the project.
